Directions and Parking

In order to ensure that your visit to the Annaberg Christmas market is as stress-free as possible, please take note of the following instructions for parking.

Follow the signs on the B 95 going towards Oberwiesenthal to parking lot "Kätplatz". You can park your car there without limitation.
There are many ways to reach the city center and Christmas market:

• Along the Große Kirchgasse footpath, past St. Anne's Church: approx. 10 minutes
• Ride on the city bus line D: at a cost (the bus stop is located above Kätplatz near the B 95 intersection Alte Poststraße)
• A free shuttle bus will run to the Christmas market on Advent weekends

Handicapped parking spots are available in the city center at the building at Klosterstraße 7, which is right next to the Annaberg Christmas Market.

You can drive in as far as St. Anne's Church. Your guests can leave the bus there, it is a five minute walk at most to the Christmas market or city center. The signs "St. Annen" on federal highway B 95 provide orientation for buses. Upon arrival at the Große Kirchgasse stop above the famous St. Anne's Church, visitors will be greeted by friendly hostesses. From the 1st to the 4th Advent weeks they will take care of bus tourists. They will provide guests with information on the city as well as recommendations for the city's highlights, events, and places of interest. Bus drivers will also receive information on parking spots, traffic regulations, and places where their guests can board.

From St. Anne's Church, the bus will be guided to the "Kätplatz" parking lot. The bus driver will have the option to ride the city transportation (city bus) to the Christmas market free of charge.

You can pick up your group at an agreed time at the St. Anne's Church or Christmas market.
