If, like Jürgen Huss, you grew up with good "Weihrichkarzln" or Christmas incense candles, then there is lot in life that revolves around this simple yet wonderful product. A great deal comes to mind in regards to "Weihrichkrazl" through the years. It all started in 1994 when he created his first little incense candle oven, and over the years it has not lost even a bit of charm. Then a while ago he had the idea to personify the "Weihrichkarzl" and "bring it to life". The result can be experienced in the animated cartoon films - hand-made by the way. "A fach annersch" is it.
"A fach annersch" is probably also the smallest incense candle Advent calendar offered by the Huss Company. It contains six each of four different types of the best Huss candles, plus a little fixture to hold them as they burn down. The "Werkstattufm" or "workshop oven" completes the range of incense candle oven products. In earlier times and even to this day, it was used to heat up workrooms and workshops. In miniature it swallows the black "Weihrichkarzle", which can be burned with the hole or turned around in a special attachment. The original incense candle creations from the Huss Company are available at the Annaberg Christmas Market (no. 28).
And if you are someone who has always wanted to know what goes into a "Weihrichkarzl", or even make your own Karzle, be sure to make reservations for a visit to the Neudorf demonstration workshop "Zum Weihrichkarzl".
