MUSEUM TOUR - THE BLACKSMITH HOT ON THE TRAIL
Take a tour of the hammer forge together with the blacksmith. After the hammer is put in motion, visit the exhibit of objects forged and the folk art gallery. "Ne Schmied sei Fraa" (A Blacksmith's Wife) will then take you through the hammer manor house and show you her handiwork: lacemaking.

FORGING DEMONSTRATION
On every other Saturday of the month, the Hammerbund Frohnau e. V. gives historic forging demonstrations in the hammer forge.

FORGING MEETS ART
Look over the shoulder of artist blacksmiths on Mühlentag (Milling Day) to observe them hard at work with fire and iron and be astounded by the variety of objects created.

GLOWING IRON, FLYING SPARKS
The forge fire burns in the great fireplace, fueled by the two bellows. Right before your eyes, hammer journeymen forge the glowing iron with the small hammer. A piece of bacon, a heel of bread, and a hearty sip will give you strength and warm you up from the inside out!
